Haruhi - [H] Dreaming all day
I had my hair lopped off :O


Before.. I had long hair o.O down to my waist, almost. It was nice and swishy and oh so pretty but it was too long, it hurt to brush, took ages to wash/dry and wouldn't straighten properly -_-; by about 4 months before I actually got it cut I gave up straightening it altogether. It took forever to do anything with too, putting it in pigtails hurt because of the weight, ponytails looked awful and.. guh. I needed a change x.x;

So...


After! :D It's a little shorter than I wanted (just past shoulders) but it's a lot more managable.. and it's long enough to be put into little pigtails or a ponytail or to be just left down!

Aaaand.. back to non-hair related stuff. Sorta.
I was sorting through my cosplay.com profile today and geez, I have no good cosplay photos. Even from this year where I tried to get some decentish photos I got nada. I'm starting to think I should designate days and arrange to go places where I can get nice, in-character photos sorted so I can, y'know, put up photos without being embarassed at how bad they are or how bad I look. Not that I look good at all, and I don't photograph well, but it'd be nice to get some better photos eventually. Cause whenever other people are doing shoots I never seem to be invited anymore =_= blagh.
So far I have 2 cosplays decided for Auchi and 3 for Aya.. prepared much? Let's just hope I can get them all done.

Also.. am I the only one not "feeling" Livejournal any more? My posts are so few and far between it's painful o.o; I rarely ever update about my day, or what I'm doing anymore.. somehow it seems so "off topic" even though it's my journal.. am I doing something wrong? o_O

When the next semester starts (which is.. this month.. O_O;..) I think I'll invest in some new web domains for projects. One's decided, the other I need to think about before I do anything. But one thing's for sure.. I will do more stuff this year.. I will!!

If you want some decent photos, I've been told that I'm apparently somewhat okay in that general field. Besides, it would give us a best chance to catch up with each other. ^^;

Are you going to October Expo? I'll definitely be going to Auchinawa, so we can meet up there.

I don't want to sound like I'm complimenting you just so I can get some photos, but honestly, your photography is amazing. I'd love it if we can meetup sometime to get some photos at a con or something. How much do CosplaySnap charge anyway?

Sadly not going to the Expo - I wish I could but I can't afford it, nor the time off XD Auchi will be awesome though!

I kinda know what you mean about LJ... I feel like I should update, and there IS stuff to update about... But somehow I just can't XD

Also next time we go out for a 'shoot you ought to come with... We mostly just prat about, but OCCASIONALLY we get some alright photo's...

wow, loving the hair cut! it looks really nice! now for pictures from the front keke.

and argh i have such horrendous cosplay pictures too haha. D: they're either from cons when i look totally stoned or in totally inappropriate backgrounds. :( i think i'm going to wait for it to snow to take GOOD pictures of my maetel cosplay, even though lol outer space.

i love your posts though. >': just post whatever lmao. DD: OH and if you buy a new domain let me know where you buy. frozenmidnight shut down and i'm having a hard time looking for a decent host.

Yeah xD I have some awful photos of me from cons.. ones where I look drunk or stoned or bored out of my mind cause it was taken mid-blink or something.. guhhh. I'd love to get more in-character photos too for series like ARIA..
Snowy ones for Maetel would be so pretty :3 !! If you take some, upload or else >:O

Lol I should post more about Uni and stuff.. I re-read some older posts and all I seem to say about it is "aughh deadlines" >_> lol.
I get my domains from Lunarpages! Some say they're awful, but I love em <3 I can get add-on domains to Nyaano for a year for around $15 each with whois? protection and stuff which is handy and probably the cheapest I've found. Plus they set it all up on my current package so I don't have to faff on with settings and stuff.

Though like I said, if you ever need hosting, just bug me and I'll give you some space on Nyaano o.o; I've got unlimited space, bandwidth, subdomains and all that, lol.

SERIOUSLY, those people with their fancy shmancy cameras and they get pictures of us with horrendous expressions! (i guess that's really our fault though..? hah)

i'm thinking first snowfall ♥!

i mean, i'd be interested in reading that :o it's what most of my friends are up to nowadays, school and such, as am i~

weeelll i think i'd have to at least get something together a bit before i'd humbly ask accept your request, but thank you thank you!

I don't like updating unless I have my paid account back. Then SPAM ahoy. I miss the insane amount of icons I had. I have so many I have to use them for my site.

I remember having hair longer than that. It was down to the back of my knees. It was indeed annoying as I had to tie my hair before I went to the toilet and people would pull it to grab my attention. The only reason I kept it was so I could dye it pink. What made me want to do that I dunno. Then I watched Haruhi and was inspired to cosplay. So inspiring I got the lot chopped off. My gran had the honours of having the first cut since she and my papa hated it. Hell! My papa paid for it since he hated my long hair so much. Scary thing is; no one misses my long hair. I don't miss it much either. Hair grows. :D

Aww it ran out? I hate it when paid LJ runs out, surviving on like 6 icons (is it? 6?) is torture. And I don't even use mine all that often apart from actual updates o_O

Back of your knees! O.O my god. How did you keep it organised?? Though longer hair is annoying.. it turns up everywhere.. the amounts of times I've put on a sock and found a stray hair hiding inside or the amount of times I've killed the vaccuum with my hair is horrible x.x lol.
My mum paid for me to get mine cut xD she rejoiced when I said I wanted it shorter. Mine's just at Haruhi length again too!
